BEAU

Born in the United States, this American / Canadian Dual citizen began playing hand drums and percussion at age 13 while growing up. He’s had many various teachers over the years, mostly through his travels and journeys. Beau has a full degree in the audio arts and sciences from Madison Media Institute, majoring in recording engineering and production with minors in music business, MIDI, and music theory. After completing his education at recording school in 1996 he began producing hip hop, and other forms of electronic based music.
In 1998 he began playing the Didgeridoo on a serious level. Beau still produces electronic and ambient music, mixing rhythmic electronic soundscapes with Didgeridoo and his own recorded drum tracks. His productions range from house beats to meditative ambient soundscapes and even more experimental work.

For Beau music is his best form of communication. He say candidly, “I use music to best communicate my inner nature and the things I want to say that I have never been able to express in words. When I am playing and producing music I am never self-conscious or
awkward.”
Beau feels that the higher points in music for him are yet to come. In the mid 90s he very much enjoyed playing hand drums at raves in Chicago for some very large crowds. He says, “It was an incredible rush.”
Aspirations for the future: only one - To produce, record, and or play on a project that has a deeper meaning. Something that inspires peoples souls to wake up and create a more harmonious world, if such a thing is possible.
A favourite quote for all of life is one he has attempted to follow for many years by Mahatma Gandhi. “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”
